Speech therapy can help people who have difficulty speaking to communicate better and to break down the barriers that result from speech impediments. The goals of speech therapy include improving pronunciation, strengthening the muscles used in speech, and learning to speak correctly.

WHAT CAN EXPECT

During an initial evaluation with Iqraa Rehabilitation of hearing and speech clinic, you can expect a comprehensive assessment of speech, language, and/or feeding skills.

Our speech-language pathologists will perform standardized assessments chosen based on your concerns to either rule out or diagnose a communication disorder.

The SLP will then share a thorough report and include recommendations for a treatment plan. We can provide individualized, direct treatment to help address your needs, typically in the form of weekly speech therapy sessions, or help to guide you toward the next steps in overcoming your communication concerns.
